Refund Policy

ElizabethPharma Ltd
West Midlands Institute for Weight Management

Effective Date: 01.03.2026

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of the legally binding agreement between ElizabethPharma Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the patient (“you”).

It explains your rights regarding cancellation, rescheduling, and refunds for weight-management consultations and prescription services provided in the United Kingdom.

All services are delivered in person only.

2. 14-Day Cancellation Right (Online Bookings)

If you book a consultation online, you have a statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel within 14 days of booking.

However:

  • If you request that your consultation takes place within the 14-day cancellation period, you expressly agree that the service may begin before the cancellation period ends.

  • Once the consultation has been fully delivered, your 14-day cancellation right no longer applies.

If cancellation is exercised within the 14-day period and the service has not yet been provided, you will receive a full refund.

3. Appointment Cancellations by Patients

Outside of the statutory 14-day cooling-off period, the following applies:

  • 5 or more working days’ notice: Full refund (100%)

  • 48 hours or more notice: 50% refund

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: No refund

  • Failure to attend (No-show): 50% refund

Cancellation requests must be made directly via the contact details listed on our website.

4. Rescheduling Policy

Appointments may be rescheduled free of charge.

There is no fixed time limit for rescheduling; however, repeated late changes may be reviewed at our discretion.

5. Clinical Assessment & Suitability

If, following consultation, you are deemed clinically unsuitable for weight-loss medication:

  • A 50% refund of the consultation fee will be issued.

If you are deemed clinically suitable for treatment:

  • No refund will be issued beyond this point, as clinical assessment and prescribing decision-making have been completed.

6. Prescription & Medication Policy

Once a prescription has been issued and/or medication has been supplied:

  • No refunds will be provided.

  • Prescription medicines cannot be returned.

  • Medicines cannot be resold or reused under UK medicines legislation.

Refunds may only be considered in the case of a verified dispensing error.

7. Dissatisfaction with Consultation Outcome

If you are dissatisfied with the consultation outcome:

  • Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis, at our sole discretion.

Clinical judgement and prescribing decisions remain the responsibility of the prescriber.

8. Force Majeure / Clinic Cancellation

If we cancel your appointment due to:

  • Illness

  • Emergency

  • Unforeseen clinic closure

  • Events beyond our reasonable control

You will receive a full refund.
