For the past five years, I have worked within NHS primary care as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients across a wide range of clinical needs.
My role involves the management of both acute minor illnesses and long-term chronic conditions, often in patients with complex medical histories and multiple co-morbidities. This includes structured medication reviews, optimisation of therapy, risk assessment, and independent prescribing where appropriate.
Working in primary care has strengthened my ability to make balanced, patient-centred clinical decisions while prioritising safety, evidence-based practice, and continuity of care.
